We have been discovering the many awesome things we can use dandelions for in cooking and since they are free and grow everywhere why not!? plus they are very good for you! Our favorite recipe so far is one my mom found for Dandelion Flower Cookies. I thought I would share it with you!

You'll need: 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup honey, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 cup unbleached flour, 1 cup dry oatmeal, and 1/2 cup dandelion flowers.

1) Preheat the oven to 375.

2) Mix the oil and honey, and then beat in the 2 eggs and vanilla.

3) Remove the yellow flower parts from the green parts.

4) Stir in the flour, oatmeal, and dandelion flowers.

5) Drop the batter be tablespoonfuls onto an oiled cookie sheet.

6) Bake for about 9 min. Enjoy!

Splish, Splash Fun!

Finally some warm weather! Jamie got Sawyer this little blow-up pool today and we decided to try it out! He had so much fun and he was so much fun to watch! I love all the faces he makes!

Bubbles!

Sawyer loves bubbles! This was when we were camping this past weekend. This last pic is my favorite, he was showing me the bubbles he got on his nose!
