Hope everyone is having a good week. Here is the 'Scoop' to the last puzzler. Good job to all those who figured it out!

Logic Puzzler #4: What's the Scoop?

Answer: The correct labels, from left to right, should read: BERRY-BERRY, CHOCOLATE, COCONUT, VANILLA, HAZELNUT.

Now for this weeks LOGIC PUZZLER #5: Tricky

At 10 p.m. Aspen turned off the lights in the living room.

Her husband Jarred, who had been reading in there, stayed

and continued to read for an hour or so. How was this possible?

(And no, Aspen and Jarred do not live anywhere near the North Pole.)

Treasures in Jars of Clay

Logic Puzzler #4

Hey Bloggerland!
Sorry (to all who have been waiting) I am a little behind
on the puzzler for this week :[ Better late then never right?:)
I am also sorry to say that our logic thumb would not load onto blogger
so we will have to do without him for this puzzler.
Before this weeks logic puzzler though here is the answer to last weeks puzzler:

Logic Puzzler #3: High School Reunion

Answer:
Sophie Mayer; Most Likely to Succeed, Computer Programmer.
Heather Mulroney; Class Clown, Dentist.
Binky Moskowitz; Valedictorian, Lawyer.
Zoe French; Most School Spirit, Financial Consultant.

-According to statements 2 and 5, Binky is Moskowitz, and Heather is Mulroney.
From statement 3, Zoe, who isn't Mayer, is French. Therefore, Sophie is Mayer, the
Computer programmer.

-Statement 6 tells us that Heather, who isn't the Lawyer, the Financial Consultant, or the
Computer Programmer, is the Dentist; and from statement 4, she was the Class Clown.

-According to statement 1, Zoe French was not Most Likely to Succeed or Valedictorian,
and since she wasn't a Class Clown, she had to have had Most School Spirit. From
statement 4, Zoe is the Financial Consultant. Therefore, Binky Moskowitz is the Lawyer
and was the Valedictorian. Sophie Mayer was the Most Likely to Succeed.

Logic Puzzler #4: What's The Scoop?

Congratulations on your new job as head scooper at Gino's Gelato. The tubs of
gelato in front of you are labeled from left to right as follows:
CHOCOLATE, VANILLA, BERRY-BERRY, HAZELNUT, and COCONUT. But the scooper
you're replacing was fired because he'd mislabeled all the tubs. In fact, if all the labels were
moved around so that all the tubs were correctly labeled, no label would end up next to a
label that it started out next to. Given the fact that the middle jar doesn't contain the
chocolate, you'd better figure out which labels belong on which tubs- the shop is about to
open.

It was in the beginning of winter when the stores

just came out with all the winter gear and everyone

tried on what they liked best!

Horsing Around

Jamie and I go to the farm on Fridays to
play games and watch 'movie night' with my
family. They were gone running errands when
we got there so I went outside to visit with the
horses. They all come up to greet you....



...even Noah the donkey:)

Sage is getting so beautiful.

She has such a sweet nature.

I can't believe that she is already

going to be three this coming summer.

Ummm.... that is Tucker. I don't think

he wanted me to take pictures:)

Horses are so much fun to be around!

Logic Puzzler #3

Hey Bloggerland!
Sorry it has been a while since our logic thumb has updated this blog but here is the answer to last weeks logic puzzler:

Logic Puzzler #2: What do an island and the the letter T have in common?
answer: They are both in the middle of waTer!

Okay, now for this week, I decided since the weather is going to be nasty, I would put a puzzler that will take some time to figure out. This is a logic puzzler, not a riddle, so enjoy....

Logic Puzzler #3: High School Reunion

Four former friends attended their 10th high school reunion. From the following statements, can you figure out each women's full name, high school claim to fame, and current occupation?

1. Neither Heather nor French was voted Most Likely to Succeed or selected as valedictorian.

2. Zoe and Sophie still live in the same town as their high school; Moskowitz lives in another state.

3. Mayer, who isn't Zoe, is a computer programmer.

4. The dentist was voted Class Clown; the one with the Most School Spirit is a financial consultant.

5. Mulroney and Binky both had to travel a significant distance to attend the reunion.

6. The lawyer (who was not voted Most Likely to Succeed), Heather, and the financial consultant went to the same college.

Holding On

"Holding up the word of life; that I may have
something to boast in the day of Christ, that I
didn't run in vain nor labor in vain."

We need to think as Christians are we holding up the word of life?
Like the saying What Would Jesus Do? I have been
thinking lately about What Would Jesus See? When
Christ looks at me would He be pleased with what He
sees? In today's world it is so easy to get caught up with
caring more about what other people think and see then
thinking about what the God we follow is thinking when He
is looking at us. If we blend into the world how then can we
be the light Christ calls us to be? We need to be different.
Christ never said it was going to be easy, but if we hold on to
Him nothing we do for Him will be in vain.

Logic Puzzler #2

Hey Bloggerland,
I hope you had fun with the last riddle and are ready for the
next one! I will also give you the answers like I said for last weeks riddles.

Here is the answers to last weeks RIDDLE #1-

1. What can travel around the world while staying
in the same corner?
Answer- a stamp

2. What has a mouth but can't chew?
Answer- a river

Noodles!

I have been wanting to post about making pasta
for awhile, but never got the chance last year:)
When I go over to 'the farm' (my parents house) I
make bread, but sometimes I get to help make PASTA!
It is a lot of fun!


The ingredients to make pasta is
simple; flour, eggs, and a little water.
You then mix it together slowly.

This picture was supposed to be before

the one above, but oh well:) doesn't it look like an

egg volcano?!

It gets kind of messy, but that's the fun of cooking!

Here is the completed dough!

We then put the dough little by little into the pasta

machine....

crank the handle and you have pasta!

Cranking the handle is a sure way to build muscles:)

It is hard work!

The reward though is worth it!

Noodles ready to eat! Yum:P

I just wanted to make a shout out to my wife on her birthday today. You wouldn't believe how special she makes me feel and all the things she does for me and her family. She is so important in my life and completes me so very much. I am so very blessed to have her as my wife and look forward to all our years spent together.
