So we have started into the world of making our own snack food! It is healthier and cheaper.....and just plan fun! We have so far made tons of different granola and crackers. I would like to share the recipe for these yummy wheat crackers pictured above (they taste close to wheat thins!) I am going to cheat though and give you the link to the recipe- Wheat Crackers instead of typing it all out myself! Happy cracker making!

I am going to show you how I make these flower hair clip-ins! You can clip them to a headband or just clip them in your hair. This is a really simple project! You will need: a package of flowers or bows or whatever you would like! (I got my flowers from the scrapbook section at Hobby Lobby) Then you need some clips or you could probably even use a bobby-pin. A glue-gun.

These clips work great and hook onto a headband really easy!

Just use your glue-gun and put a small drop of

glue on the back of your flower or whatever you are

using and then press the clip on. Make sure you are holding

the clip open so it does not get glued shut! You will only need

to hold it open for a couple seconds as the glue dries fast.

That's it! Now you have a cute clip you can hook onto a headband,

wear by itself, or clip onto a necklace or scarf, the ideas could be

endless!

I am FINALLY getting to my first post of the New Year! I am trying some new things with my blog for this year such as changing the name: The flower symbolism associated with the dandelion is love me, affection returned, desire, sympathy, faithfulness, happiness and love's oracle. Our family loves dandelions as they have so many good purposes! Most people just don't know that and think that dandelions are just a weed! Makes me think a lot about our walk with Christ, we all have a purpose here on earth and how we live our life for Him shows others around us if we are following Christ or do we just look like a weed? I hope to also post more craft ideas, recipes I try, and maybe try a few giveaways!
