Nothing but a Hound Dog....

I have been wanting to put on these pictures
that I took of my brother's puppy Summit.
She is so cute and is so fun to take pictures of!
And she is growing so fast! She is about 2 months
old now (I'm guessing?). Summit is a Coon/Walker
hound mix. My brother always wanted a hound dog:)

She looks so sweet and calm in the pictures,

but trust me she is not always so sweet and calm.

She is at the puppy stage where she is more playful

and she can get a little rough. Just ask my poor dog Joschi.

He has to put up with a lot when we go to visit. She loves to

bite and pull his tail (A LOT!). I don't think he minds it too much:)

Birthday Girl

Yesterday was Gabrielle's Birthday!
I go to the farm on Tuesdays to bake so
it worked out perfectly to be able to spend the
whole day there also celebrating Gab's Birthday.
Jamie came after work and we had dinner and played
games. What a fun day!



She was excited to get the cd Jamie and I had gotten
her from the Mercy Me concert we went to last week.

She has been saving money and has planned

on using any Birthday money to buy her own camera!

Here is a new camera case for

the future new camera!

She has been working on some knitting

projects so this yarn will come in handy!

The spoils of a Birthday girl!

Now for the yummy part of the Birthday

fun! If you are wondering about the odd number

on the cake, well we didn't have the right numbers

so I came up with just putting the numbers that

we had together to equal Gab's age.

6+2+3+3=14 :)

I thought this picture was pretty cute!

I think Isaac was more interested in eating the

cake then me trying to get a picture!

The cake by the way is from Grandma. Both

her and Grandpa came over for lunch. This yummy

pie is what Mom made! its banana cream:)

The cake that Grandma brought was her

'famous' ice cream cake. Yum!

I think everyone enjoyed eating them both!

Adoption Day!

Yesterday Jamie and I went up to Rockford along with
my family and some friends from church; the Kalebaughs, and
Wolfgang & Lauren. To celebrate the finalization of Kaleb's adoption!
Jamie and I had gotten Kaleb a dozen smiley balloons. We gave one of
them to him to take along to the courthouse. He looked so cute carrying the balloon around!


I only got to take a few pictures as we
waited for the judge to come in, because
you couldn't take pictures once the judge
entered.

After it was done though the judge let us

get some pictures with him!

My Mom had worked hard on Kaleb's scrapbook

so she could bring it to show the attorney.

On the way home Kaleb looked through

his scrapbook.

Everybody came to the farm after court to

celebrate and have a sort of... I guess you would

call it brunch. Crystal and I had to get a picture

of us and our almost matching sweaters.

Kaleb and Isaac enjoyed playing with

all the balloons!

It was so nice to have everyone around

to celebrate the special day!
