Our House: part 1- Demolition Time

 It has been so hard to find time to blog, but I wanted to give a quick post on what we have been up to:) We closed on our house last Tuesday and have been working on tearing out the old plaster and lath walls to put up dry wall. It has been a VERY dirty job! My family has been such a great help! Thank you Dad, Mom, Jordan, Danielle, Gab, Christian, Adrian, Isaac, and Kaleb for all your help! Here is a few pictures that I got of the hard workers. I will try to keep posting more pictures of our progress!

~ Thoughts ~

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

This verse to me shows from the perspective of eternity, the Christian's difficulties diminish in importance. By comparison, the eternal glory is far greater than all the suffering one may face in this life. So by fixing our eyes on God we will not lose heart!
